Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at Leoni Bed & Breakfast, I savored an experience enriched by both locale and culinary charm. Nestled just steps from a public beach, the tranquil atmosphere was an unexpected respite. The property is ideally situated, with easy access to Pompeii, Vesuvius, and Naples, making our exploratory family outings seamless. The dining area, a cozy nook within the establishment, offered refreshing breakfast options, featuring croissants filled with vanilla cream or chocolate. A delightful surprise was Marko's willingness to prepare fresh fruit-nectarines and melons-upon request, adding a personal touch to our mornings. While the courtyard provided a peaceful backdrop, I took the opportunity to traverse the nearby eateries. Trattoria da Marta, just a short stroll away, served authentic local cuisine that delighted my palate, while Granammare offered fresh seafood that truly echoed the Mediterranean spirit. The owners display a commitment to enhancing the guest experience, even as they continue to refine the property. Although the beach did not meet our expectations for clarity, the central location, attentive service, and vibrant culinary scene surrounding Leoni make this a worthwhile stop for any discerning traveler.
